Make sure your favorites are in season by consulting the farm’s picking schedule. Two sizes of pick-your-own-apple bags are available and include a quarter bushel (10lbs) and a half-bushel (20lbs). If you would prefer not to carry your bag of apples through the orchard, pull-behind wagons are available for your convenience. Located at 37 Hamilton 52, this family farm is a 23-minute drive from the Cedar Towers Apartments and a 21-minute drive from the Olympia Court Apartments.
Soak in the fresh fall air and load up your baskets with fresh fall produce from Lutz Orchard. Located at 1806 Concession 4 West, the orchard is less than 20 minutes away from both Cambridge apartments by car. Boasting an impressive selection of raspberries, apples, pumpkins, and strawberries and even baked goodies, you won’t leave hungry or empty handed. Visitors can even watch apple cider being made and enjoy a piping-hot cup of it after a day of roaming around the grounds.
If you’re looking for a serious scare or thrilling adventure, a visit to Cambridge’s Scariest Home Haunt is definitely in order. Located on Karalee Crescent off of McMeeken in Hespler, this scare fest is less than 20 minutes away from the Cambridge apartments by car. On October 31st, experience a 400-square foot walk through a haunted house filled with live actors
, zombies and professional animatronics and effects. While there is no charge associated with admission, donations for the local Humane Society will be accepted.
Dyment’s Pumpkin Patch & Country Harvest

The farm opened October 4th for family weekends and the pumpkin patch officially closes on the last weekend of October.
